How motivated are you?   How motivated is your team?
How much is lack of motivation costing you or your business?

Individual performance or the performance of any group, team or organisation depends on a whole range of factors.  These factors include skills, training, experience and constructive leadership.  In addition to these factors, motivation is a crucial ingredient that organisations may overlook at their peril.

Consider the following benefits of having a well motivated team:

  • Greater Productivity
  • More Profitable
  • Happier Culture & Better Engagement with Customers
  • Greater Retention of Good Staff
  • Savings in Recruitment Costs
  • Effective Appraisal & Reward System
  • Less Absenteeism/Sickness
  • Less Job Accidents
  • Greater Alignment with Company Ethos

The factors, (i.e. skills, training, experience and constructive leadership) mentioned above, can often be taken care of by effective staff training and development programmes.  The development and maintaince of motivation within the individual or the staff team however, is often the key factor that many organisations find most difficult.....  Motivational Maps® provide the solution:-

What is a Motivational Map?

A Motivational Map is a comprehensive on-line assessment and diagnostic tool that highlights the major motivators of the individual and/or the wider staff team.  Once organisations have this vital information, (contained in the indepth ten page report) they can then begin to implement a range of techniques, tools and strategies in order to maximise levels of motivation.  The ten page report also serves as a very valuable starting point for interventions such as individual and team coaching and mentoring, staff supervision and appraisal.

Maps can be drawn up for the individual and/or team within an organisation, creating invaluable information and guidance for team leaders and managers.  This information includes how motivated individuals and teams currently are, the dominant motivational types, (see below for the 9 types) within each team.  The ten page report then goes on to outline a number of reward strategies that can then be implemented to maximise motivation and thereby increase performance.  Also outlined in the report is the 'change index score' which reveals how ready for change an individual or team currently is.

Our work related inner needs are defined by our Motivational Map®. This is a complex mix of 9 different motivators. To make each motivator easier to understand and remember, they have each been given a name, which hopefully paints a picture of how that motivator looks in action.
