Corporate Stress Management

The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) have reported that 40% of workers have identified an increase in stress levels during the past 12 months.  There was also a significant increase in the number of employees reporting stress as a major problem, (57% in 2013 up from 48% in 2012).  The CIPD survey has identified stress as the most common cause of long term sickness.  MIND suggest that £26 billion are lost every year by British businesses due to sickness absence.

Our Corporate Stress Management Programme, (which can also be tailor-made to suit the specific needs of your organisation) will often begin with an organisational stress assessment to identify the level, nature and frequency of stress being experienced.  We will help staff to recognise the signs and symptoms of stress and take appropriate actions to help manage and reduce their stress levels.  A central feature of the Corporate Stress Management Programme is to highlight the various ways that communication, collaboration and inter-departmental support structures can make a crucial difference.  The Programme is stimulating, inter-active and good fun!  

Corporate Change Management

The Chartered Institute of Professional Development have identified organisational change as being one of the major challenges facing British Business in the current economic climate.  Causes of organisational change can include:  Changes in Strategy – Technical Changes – Downsizing – Mergers and Acquisitions – Shifting Markets and Tough Trading Conditions.  

This programme will help Managers and Team Leaders to identify current and future changes to take place in their organisation; and to plan effective implementation strategies that benefit the organisation as a whole.  A number of techniques, strategies and tools will be highlighted that attendees can use in order to implement and monitor change effectively. 

The underlying theme of this programme is that organisational change can be rewarding, beneficial and positive for all concerned if handled appropriately. 
Managing Motivation in the Corporate World

According to the Confederation for British Industry, (CBI) sickness absence is costing British Businesses £750 per person, per day in lost productivity and cover.  A clear link between poor levels of motivation and sickness absence has been identified.  Some of the effects of low motivation include increased:

  • Diminished Levels of Customer Satisfaction and Productivity

This program will make use of Motivational Maps to help explore a number of key questions in relation to our ‘workforce’:

  1. What motivates people at work? 
  2. How do we describe what motivates people at work? 
  3. How do we measure what motivates people at work?
  4. How do we monitor what motivates people at work? 
  5. How do we maximise their motivation?

The programme will include an individual and group based Motivational Map assessment, together with a computer generated analysis for the team, department or organisation as a whole. Our Motivational Maps Practitioner will then interpret the analysis to identify and help implement a range of key strategies that will create enhanced levels of individual and group based motivation.
